Vaguelly inspired of the elements that characterize steampunk. Not really intended to be an aviator costume, or something like that...

I would kill for this outfit! I am dying to do a steampunk cosplay and this is just stunning. I could never pull off making it myself.

With a few different things I'd really want to wear that! I love the cape and leg-warmers!

Do you mean you don't like wearing skirt, or do you find it something ugly, unpractical or somehow unbalanced? (if it's the last, any tips will be welcomed, if it's a question of personal tastes, it's personal, and I respect that =D)
Cape and warmers thank you!

Oh not at all! I would just be way too old to wear something like that, it would look great on a young woman, but I prefer something to suit my age. If it were the same length and all the way down I'd love it too :)
I don't wear skirts often mostly because nothing I see pleases me. The only two I liked are now two sizes too large :)

Yes, seen like that, I understand completely. In fact, I would not wear it either ^^

I did the long and turning skirt because it had the same movement than... all kind of mechanical pieces that turn. But it should be adapted for ready to wear clothes...

You'll have to gain two sizes! Skirts are great to wear ^^

:D Or I could ask you to make me a couple of skirts to my new size ;) I'm serious. I could send you one of the big ones see if you can re-size it, the other one is probably "dead" as I tired to re-size it myself

Why not! ... or maybe it might be better for you to find a couturière near your home... (that said, once I have seen a skirt from you, it's more easy if you ever want something from me ;) )

What did you do to the skirt? You cut the fabric? It's the only lethal thing that you can do to clothes, the rest can always be mended =D
